I Am Poem

I am crazy and happy.
I wonder if dinosaurs are real.
I hear silence.
I see a horse.
I want to become very rich.
I am crazy and happy.
I pretend to fly.
I feel hyper.
I touch a book.
I worry about my brother.
I cry when someone is mean.
I am crazy and happy.
I understand that i need to be nice.
I say that my family loves me.
I dream to become a great basketball player.
I try to get good at basketball.
I hope to be happy all the time.

Christmas Break

So about a week before Christmas Break, my older sister Afton suprised us by coming down for the holidays. She had a job in Australia and we didn't think that she was able to come down and see us. I was totally shocked when I came to the door at like 10:00 p.m and saw her and my brother in law standing on the front step holding bags! I freaked out and was so happy. Than my mom came up and freaked more than me! It was amazing, and that was only the beggining of our break. After school was finally out, I got to sleep in! It was awesome. On Monday, we had our family party when we go to our grandma's and all the cousins come and we eat lots of food and exchange presents. We also have to come up with a song with like our family and its funny hearing the songs! Pretty much the rest of the week I just chilled with my family. Than finally, Christmas came! It was amazing because my brother who is on a mission in Richmond, Virginia got to call us and talk to us! It was so great hearing him! And than again, the next week I chilled again. On Thursday I went to Classic Skating with my friend Dallin! We met some pretty cool people there and had tons of fun! On New Years Eve, we went sledding with cousins, than had a party at their house. We were getting really crazy! We played like our own style of Minute To Win It! Some of the games were pretty hard, but it was awesome! Than all that fun at to get ruined by going back to school the next week. That was my awesome break!!!

Utopia

Utopia's can be good in some ways. Like in the book, everyone is happy and don't have any worries. People are always excited and have fun. Bad things though are that they don't ever have real feelings and can't experience other things like weather and color. They don't know about the bad things in the world like when Jonas went to the park and everyone was playing War. Only Jonas knew what kind of thing that was. Everyone else thought that it was just a harmless game, but Jonas knew that it was a bad thing about death. More bad things is that Release is a terrible thing. Everyone there thinks its a great thing with a ceremony and everything, but it was really a bad thing. They would bring in the person for release and get this needle full of clear liquid and put it into the person. It would kill them instantly. This next thing may be good for some people, but I wouldn't really like it myself. When they are 12, they get assigned a job that they would have to try and do for the rest of their lives. I would hate that because I wouldn't want to have the same job for the rest of my life.
